After a two months stay in Shanghai the ship departed frorm Shanghai. First stop was on the island Zhoushan outside Shanghai where the ship was taken in to a shipyard for a full inspection of the rigging and bottom painting in a dry dock. After two weeks The Swedish Ship was ready to start its home voyage to Göteborg.
The first offical portcall on the home voyage was made in Hong Kong where the ship was very apreciated and had a lot of visiters. The Ship stayed in Hong Kong for almost two weeks.

The Swedish Ship left Hong Kong on the 12 of December 2006 and set out for Singapore, which has one of the world's largest ports. The Swedish Ship stayed for two weeks in Singapore and was celebrating New Year.
