From the logbook: During the night “Abandon ship" drill with watch on duty. 0500 port spritsail brace broke. Replaced. 0815 changed course to avoid Parcell Islands and a low pressure.
 
Comments: Seaway continues but most of the crew are now free from seasickness. During the day sun for a few hours. It is getting inceasingly damp and hot below. Today installation of air conditioner bought in Hong Kong started. It is however going to take some time before it is in place and working.
