Comments:
A heavy thunderstorm lit up the sky northwest of us during the night, but was so far away that we heard no sound of it.
During the night and in the morning we continued by engine up the Sunda Straits and then turned east. We are now riding at anchor between the small islands of Karang Ayersedang and Pulau Ayer Besar, due north of Jakarta, awaiting formal clearance to Jakarta. The Indonesian Navy is keeping a watchful eye on us, with a patrol vessel circling around in the neighbourhood.
