Comments:
We have been riding at anchor off Jakarta since yesterday. We are close enough to land to make our mobile phones operate and yesterday several calls were made to Sweden by the crew. Most of us slept on the deck last night, temperature and air being much more comfortable there. After the formalities with the authorities had been sorted out, we started weighing anchor and are right now going by engine towards suitable anchorage at some of the Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu). Our chefs are busy inventing some dish that would call for A Thousand Islands Dressing. If they succeed notwithstanding, the entire crew agrees that chow on board the Swedish Ship Götheborg is first-class.
