Diary 17 April 2006

This morning has been quite stressed. I am the Backis for yesterday afternoon and this  morning. Since we surpass the timezone, we got brass the clock one hour earlier at 4:15.  This means we have to finished all the task for 4hours in 3 hours. It's always been  interesting to be Backis for me, cos most of the things to make food here is quite different  from what we use back in Shanghai. So I am quite cautious with everything. Hehe. So, to make  4 hours' work into 3 seems a little big tricky for us. But finally we made it. I am so glad  that our work was complimented by chefs afterwards. In the afternoon, I started my very first stitch for sewing. I enjoy it! Philip showed me  every keypoint of action so patiently. I think I had got the point, yet more practice is  needed. When we are having sewing lesson, people beside us are practising some massage. The  massage seemed to be quite good. Just I am still not so acustomed to being so open. I dared  not to decloth like other girls. Hehe, Chinese are still not so open. But I have learnt  some, and plan to practise it with my parents.

And, then, about the everyday Chinese class. I am very impressed by the students. They are such swift-learners. Now we have come to dialogues concerning self-introduction, order for food, ask for position, and number- counting. Hehe, I hope I would have learnt much Swedish before we arrived Fremantle.
