Still at anchor at Fernando do Noronha until afternoon. Work as usual with some peaks like painting of anchor and continued tarring of the hull´s outside. But exactly like yesterday also with very welcome breaks for a bath. The cruise ship is still around and during the day there have been a great number of tourists circling and admiring our ship.

At about 1500 we weighed anchor to sail for Recife. Having been at anchor next to these beautiful paradise islands for two days it is easy to state that most of us are very keen also to set fot ashore some day. But this time it was up anchor and leaving.

From our anchorage we sailed west along the coast of the main island. Extremely beautiful with steep cliffs and here and there golden beaches, almost deserted. Word is that the number of visitors is limited, to protect this nature reserve. Well, now we have a few days more at sea before our next stop and the end destination for our students. Before that we naturally hope for nice sailing with winds from the right direction allowing us to go under sail all the way. And as far as we know, we are as of yet not short of time.
