From the logbook: The last layers of anti-fouling painted. Caulking of planking continues. When docking, our echo-sounder was damaged. Unluckily the ship was placed in a position where the echo-sounder came directly on to the timber propping up the hull, and so it was pressed into the bottom-plank. Work to repair the damage has been initiated.

Comments: Nearly all work is being done by the deckhands. The only exception, by and large, is the caulking of the planking from outside, which is being done by Chinese dock workers.
