From the logbook: Today we had visit from the town of Nanjing where they are building a large junk, said to become one of the biggest sailing ships in the world when finished and ten metres longer than the Swedish Ship Götheborg. They have been here before and had many questions as to the contruction of the East Indiaman.
Sails are being taken up and bent on. Mainsail, spanker and spritsail are already in place and the foresail is next.

Comments: After a hard day´s work yesterday we had a “Dock party" down in the dock with movie, slide-show, chips and beverages. Much appreciated! In spite of the fact that the ship has been caulked for a week and a half now, today´s rain was enough for her to start leaking again in some places, my cabin included.
