Comments:
The traditional Sunday entertainment was performed by the midship watch and the theme was “A Night in Arabia". This would be the first time that belly-dancing and snake-charming has been seen on the deck of an East Indiaman. To commemorate the evening we now have a hemp snake in one of the forecastles.
The weather is still warm and fine. Health situation excellent.

There are several 18th century navigation instruments on board the ship, amongst them a pin log.
Heading for Jakarta.
