Comments:
Today we were accompanied for a quarter of an hour by a seal on starboard side . It showed itself with both hind fins in the air, resting on its back and waving its paws and then as a spectator with just its head showing and its eyes on the Swedish Ship Götheborg all the time. The wind was nearly gone then and our ship was slowly drifting past it, heading for Australia, rocked by a slow swell.

Like yesterday it is overcast today, but no rain. The wind is just about non-existent but the current is taking us in the right direction and the weather forecast says that when it returns, it will be more or less as we want it. So it looks as if we will be able to sail all the way from Africa to Australia without needing the engine for a single hour.

Talking about engine. That is what our machinery on board is called. Motors are found in drilling-machines, kitchen equipment, tooth-brushes, ventilation systems, vacuum-cleaners etc.

Our on board computers are being protected against viruses right now. But the only viruses we have seen so far are the ones causing common cold.
