Comments:
I wrote yesterday that so far we had not caught any fish. But later in the day there was a bite on the captain´s line in the aft of the Swedish Ship Götheborg. When he took the line in it turned out to be tuna. But it was canned and later on mounted on an April´s fool sign with a fitting text. But we have made one catch, after all.

Last night the wind increased and a thunderstorm passed us. There were ligthnings everywhere and the rain was pouring down. But not to worry! We have thick copper lightning-conductors on all masts, from the tops and going down into the water under the chainwhales. None of them was however tested last night.

And we made good speed. Now and then we logged more than 10 knots. The weather forecast says this wind will continue for about twelve hours and then there will probably be high seas for some time efter that.
