Comments:
Now the cold southern wind or the autumn is here. Last night most of us needed a blanket, something not used so far after the new crew signed on in Cape Town. We have made quite a distance to the east. In the daily reports we inform about the distance from noon to noon, but if we rather look at last night and day, i.e. 0000 to 2400, we actually sailed 183 nm, corresponding to an average speed of 7.6 knots.

The weather forecast says we will have moderate winds for a few days more. The swell from yesterday´s storm is still there and it looks as if the sun is going to make it through the clouds later on today. But the warm clothes have been taken forth and this morning there were several looking for warm blankets. We have plenty, so no-one will be freezing.
