Karlstad | 14 – 17 July

The Swedish Ship Götheborg arrives to Karlstad on the 14th of July and stay until the 17th of July. The visit to the city will be the forth stop over on Vänern Tour. The quay turnes into an event area with exhibitions, concerts and crafts.

The Swedish Ship Götheborg arrives to Karlstad at 17.00 on the 14th of July. There will be an arrival ceremony, including a cannon salute, interview with the captain and shanty singing. The event area on the dock at Yttre hamnen in Karlstad will open at 15.00 a clock.

On the quay, there will be exhibitions of the Swedish East India trade in our historical exhibition and a photo exhibition with stunning images from the ship expeditions worldwide.

The ship will be open for the public on the 15th, 16th and the 17th of July, at 10.00 – 20.00 a clock. Welcome aboard to the smell of tar and wood, of adventure and sea. Talk to the crew who can tell you about life on board.

On the 17th of July at 9 pm the Swedish Ship Götheborg departs from Karlstad and set course towards Åmål.
