Find out about a magnificent adventure with a guided tour aboard the Swedish Ship Götheborg. Our guides have sailed the ship and know what it’s like to be woken in the middle of the night to do their watch up on deck, and to climb high up the rigging. They know what it takes to be a crew member aboard the biggest wooden sailing ship in the world.
A guided tour covers both the history of the Swedish East India Company in the 18th century and the Swedish Ship Götheborg’s expeditions, as well as the construction and maintenance of the ship. The guides share their experiences from their time on board and are only too happy to answer your questions. A guided tour takes approximately one hour. Afterwards there is always an opportunity to visit our souvenir shop ashore.
